The DAP-PKR-PAS combination has collectively won 27 seats out of 40 seats in Penang state. DAP won 19 seats, PKR 6 and PAS 2.
The chief minister of Penang Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon said he would hand over power to Penang opposition party DAP leader.
It is believed that DAP will named party Secretary general Lim Guan Eng as the next chief minister in Penang, NOT the Penang State DAP Chairman Chow Kon Yeow.
He said, he has contacted the governor Penang and Prime Minister. The opposition shall form the government according to the state constitution. He respected the wishes of the people as people comes and go.
