SAPP HAS NO INTENTION TO JOIN ANWAR

In the multi-ethnic Malaysian political spectrum, the strong political leadership is necessarily and essential.

As political stability is an essential pre-requisite factor for consistent and sustainable economic growth, the establishment of political confidence through strong political leadership is needed for modernization and the development of a dynamic political economy.

The Sabah Progressive Party's plan to table a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has been shelved is thus justified.

The party’s vice-president and MP for Tawau, Datuk Chua Soon Bui said, the party did not want to be held responsible as the "scapegoat" in the current political climate.

"We don't want to be made the scapegoat under the current political situation and take responsibility if there's any emergency rule or any outcome that will affect the general public," she said.
