Are Dr Khoo Kay Kim and Dr Ridhuan Tee pulling BN’S leg?

It is ironic that the Chinese community always paid the honor to a person who earnestly contributed to the Chinese education in the country and otherwise.

Academician Prof Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Khoo Kay Kim who claimed that the Chinese education system produced copycats while Dr Mohd Ridhuan Tee Abdullah criticized the vernacular education system in the country.

In response to these criticizes, the Chinese community can not find any possible reason that could justify the claimed especially taking into account that Malaysia is a role model of multiracial country.

The Chinese community especially the educationalists not only condemn them but describe them as naive, arrogant and disgrace to Malaysian Chinese’s history in the country.

It is reported that the Chinese education supporters were very angry and disgusted and to the extent that their names have term synonymous with the word traitor.

Undeniably, language is the bridge to understanding. It is claimed that Dr Khoo Kay Kim is married to an Indian of Ceylonese Tamil creed while Dr Mohd Ridhuan Tee Abdullah is a Chinese convert married to Malay, they were not Chinese educated or never a Chinese medium educated. They were unable to understand the Chinese community situation, thought, feeling and the driving political sensitivity behind.

Indeed, the views expressed by two prominent academicians seem to be a particular challenge to Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

In a statement, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that national schools might adopt the Chinese school model in the teaching of Mathematics and Science as the Chinese schools had done well in the two subjects in public examinations.

It is often claimed that many academician are anti-establishment and not surprisingly well planned overt or covert anti-establishment viewpoints unfavorable to the government especially targeted to severely tarnish the image of MCA seems to be happening regularly.

Intentionally, they present distorted views. This will not only weaken the credibility of MCA, but will probably fail MCA to keep the support for the Barisan Nasional.

At the end of the day, the move will threaten the political stability at times when political support is deteriorating. The strategy to usurp BN political power is the hidden agenda and a symbiotic relationship between academicians and opposition.

While the ruling party takes full advantage of its position to gain support and maintain power, it is not justify supporting the academicians to jeopardize the power of the ruling party.

  2. There's no need to bother with KKK or Ridhuan Tee. Both are UMNO rent-a-mouths. They'll gladly call their mothers whores if they get enough incentive to do so.

  3. Agree...statements from these cheap rent-a-mouths only reflect bigoted ignorance and stupidity! Reading history does not make one smarter anyway. Neither does it train one to use brain to critically analyse facts and situation before making blind and unfounded speeches for publicity stunt... These two Chinese drop-outs are clear examples. It's better these permanent-head-damages only speak on history or other areas relating to their permanent-head-damage.

  4. See...just read in the news this KKK guy is asking MCA's Wee to give a better educational proposal for national unity before accepting a debate. This is so damned bloody stupid...I think any tom, dick and harry knows that it is the NEP and other political factors that are dividing the people, not the stream (language)of education.

  5. the way i look at it what KKK is saying is for the betterment of the whole society...i really think many ppl cant accept this fact ,but kids who learn and play when they are young will grow up just the very same way.NEP may had divide us.true.v true .but only education can brige the gap back.I know many chinese school students who are perfect in every way but i know many other who graduates and still find it upmost difficult to converse with ppl of other race.WHY? language barriers. Why are we still speaking in mother tongues in our office? figure out ! if we were to go to the same school everyone will be very comfortable to speak in either malay or english.Just think abt the greater benefit for the nation!

  7. I was from national kebangsaan school. I don't think government should abolish vernacular schools just for all these extremist sacks. Education has nothing to do with national unity. Education is just to give bright future for our children.

Clearly, just asked these BN supporters, don't be racist. That is all, as simple as that. Everything will be alright. Nation will be divided because of these bad politicians and surely not caused by vernacular education system. Nearest example, we can see our neighbour Indonesia, even though they use a single school system, they still fail to unite their own country. The clashes still occur between ethnics from time to time

For RidwanTA. You're not fit to be MCA candidate. Don't compare yourself with Tun Omar Ong because he was truly MCA pioneer fighter. You are nothing (tin kosong), if compare yourself with him. MCA need a fighter not a traitor like you.

    Before You Join MCA,
You must prove that you are the true fighter just like Hindraf by asking government to build Chinese mosque for your own people. If this small things still can't be achieved. How could you be a fighter for MCA and our nation???
