Bank founder Hussain Ahmad Najadi, 75, was shot dead on the spot in 2 pm after
the bullets pierced his left chest and rib cage in a car park at an open space
parking lot in Lorong Ceylon near Kuan Yin Temple Kuala Lumpur.
However,
his wife Cheong Mei Kuen, 49, was hit on the left wrist and right thight at the
spot, several hundred meters away from the bank headquarters was rushed to the
hospital.
It
was reported that the former banker and his wife were walking towards his car;
a gun man approached him and fired several shots at him, killing him on the
spot.
CCTV
showed the assailant was a man wearing a long sleeve checked shirt and khaki
pants.
Dang
Wangi police Chief Assistant Commissioner Zainuddin Ahmad confirmed the
incident and saying it has been classified as murder case.
It
is believed that three suspects, using a Proton Waja taxi, were involved in the
shooting.
