Stern action against cow head protestors

Cow head protesters had violated the laws under the Sedition Act. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has ordered the police to take stern action against the culprits that brought a cow's head to Shah Alam to protest a Hindu temple relocation in a bid to calm swirling racial tensions according to the law are most welcome.

Undeniably, Hindus consider the cow as a sacred animal. The protest sparked controversy when some of the participants brought along the decapitated head of a cow, then stamped and spat on it.

Those responsible for bringing the head of a cow during the Aug 28 protest at the Selangor state secretariat building had offending others and should be charged in court.
