Wild Empurau from Belaga, Sarawak

The wild empurau is the most expensive freshwater fish in Sarawak.

Although my trip to Kapit recently, I can’t see the real outlook of the empurau, but my friend shows me the photos.

It's a fish weight more than a kilo bought from Belaga during Chinese New Year. Her husband works in timber sector based in Belaga, when he saw the indigenous people fishing in the river and get the empurau, immediately he bought from him. As he bought direct, the price is very much cheaper than market.
